Cool Pumpkin Painting & Carvings
Something we’re seeing quite a bit of is pumpkin ‘painting’ versus ‘carving’ which can sometimes be a little cleaner (smells better) and depending on how artsy you are…could make an even bigger mess! 🙂
Call me traditional, but carving is definitely my favorite way to go if I had to make the choice. Although I’ve seen so many cool ‘painted’ pumpkins in the past few years it’s really become the craze for the millennial and younger generations who constantly enjoy mixing it up and not being traditional in the sense.

October-November Decorating Ideas
One of the most fun times of the year for decorating and transitioning your home to include more oranges, yellows and the richer tones of the fall season. No matter what it never fails, I always wind up buying a couple things that inspire me each year while out and about…we’re all guilty of this I think!
Gold is back! We’re seeing the color of Gold and Copper back in many different arenas, especially for almost any holiday and in homes and their design and fixtures. Something definitely to not be shy with this year.
Also, lots of texture and mixed media has really become more popular the last couple years. What does this mean for interiors? It means don’t be afraid to mix it up a little! Eclectic is the new ‘matchy matchy’ lol…true story.
